Executive Producer of “The Outpost”


Marc Roskin is an executive producer of The CW’s fantasy adventure series “The Outpost.”


Roskin is a founding partner of Electric Entertainment and a driving force behind the company’s award-winning television and feature film production. Along with co-founder Dean Devlin, Roskin has developed and produced each of the company’s features including “Flyboys” and “Cellular,” “Geostorm,” “Bad Samaritan,” and “The Deal” as well as the critically acclaimed documentary “Who Killed the Electric Car?,” He also produced and directed second unit of the feature “Geostorm” starring Gerard Butler.


Roskin helped create and executive produce 2004’s cable movie “The Librarians: Quest for the Spear,” as well as its two sequels and the spinoff television series “The Librarians” starring Noah Wyle. He also executive produced and directed over 20 episodes of the People’s Choice Award-winning series “Leverage” starring Academy Award winning actor Timothy Hutton. Additional executive producing credits include the miniseries “The Triangle” and “Blank Slate,” and directed episodes of “Almost Paradise,” “The Outpost,” “Covert Affairs,” “Burn Notice,” “Common Law,” “Dallas,” “The Glades,” “Killer Women,” “Graceland,” “Sleepy Hollow,” “Krypton,” “S.W.A.T” and “The Outpost.”


Currently, Roskin is in production, directing Electric’s newest series “Almost Paradise,” starring Christian Kane. The series is being produced by Roskin, Dean Devlin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment along with Gary Rosen.


Prior to founding Electric Entertainment, Roskin was senior vice president at Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin’s production company, Centropolis Entertainment. During his tenure, Roskin was instrumental in the development and production of films such as “Godzilla,” “The Patriot,” “Eight Legged Freaks” and “The Thirteenth Floor.”
