Adam Johnson

Munt in “The Outpost”

Adam Johnson stars as Munt in The CW’s fantasy adventure series “The Outpost.” The Outpost’s lovable village fool, Munt has inherited the Nightshade Inn along with his brother Janzo (Anand Desai-Barochia). With a good heart and a loyal soul, Munt has a lot to offer, but isn’t sure he’ll ever find love.

Adam Johnson began his career as a stand-up comedian in Utah. He moved to Los Angeles and discovered a love for drama and began booking supporting roles in TV (“Dexter,” “Shooter,” “This Is Us,” “Yellowstone”).

His natural ability with comedy led to supporting roles in television comedies (“Angel From Hell,” “You’re The Worst,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Show Offs”) and starring roles in indie films (“Vamp U,” “The Appearance”), and eventually found a niche working in several fantasy films (“Orcs,” “Dudes & Dragons,” “The Mythica” series).

Adam is a versatile actor and continues to hone his craft, not only as an actor, but as a writer and producer. When available, he performs improv with various troupes around Los Angeles, but can otherwise, be found in the mountains of his second home, Utah, hiking, mountain biking and skiing or off-road motorcycling and surfing with his brothers in Mexico, to keep his Spanish fluent and his fish tacos fresh.
