Adam Johnson

Munt in “The Outpost”

Adam Johnson stars as Munt in The CW’s fantasy adventure series “The Outpost.”

Johnson began his career as a stand-up comedian in Utah. He moved to Los Angeles and discovered a love for drama and began booking supporting roles in television on series including “Dexter,” “Shooter,” “This Is Us,” and “Yellowstone.” His natural ability with comedy led to supporting roles in television comedies including “Angel From Hell,” “You’re The Worst,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Show Offs.”

Johnson landed starring roles in the indie films “Vamp U” and “The Appearance,” and eventually found a niche working in several fantasy films including “Orcs,” “Dudes & Dragons” and “The Mythica” series.

A versatile actor, Johnson continues to hone his craft, not only as an actor, but as a writer and producer. When available, he performs improv with various troupes around Los Angeles, but can otherwise be found in the mountains of his second home, Utah, hiking, mountain biking and skiing or off-road motorcycling and surfing with his brothers in Mexico, to keep his Spanish fluent and his fish tacos fresh.
