Jess on “In the Dark”


Brooke Markham plays Murphy’s (Perry Mattfeld) extremely understanding, yet pushed to her limits roommate Jess on The CW drama “In The Dark.”

Markham trained at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts graduating with an MFA in Acting. Before that, she attended Portland State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies.

She recently completed a starring role in an Amazon Studios pilot, “A Kid Called Mayonnaise.” Some of her other TV credits include starring in “Cassandra French's Finishing School” for the Audience Network & YouTube Red's “Foursome.” On the film side Markham was seen in the Sundance hit “Deidra & Laney Rob A Train” opposite Missi Pyle, the Netflix original “Dude” for director Olivia Milch, and “Friend Request” for director Simon Verhoeven.

On stage she produced and starred in “The Flu Season” by Will Eno. She has also appeared in many regional productions including Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, and Gracie and the Atom. Markham is a founding member of the classical theatre company, The Wet Mariners.

She currently resides in Los Angeles.
