About EcoMedia

EcoMedia was founded in 2001 by social entrepreneur Paul Polizzotto, who had a revolutionary idea: To leverage corporate advertising dollars to support the work of the nation's most-effective nonprofits. Through the company's innovative advertising programs, brands direct a portion of their increased radio, television, and digital ad-spends to fund critical veterans', education, health and wellness, animal and environmental projects nationwide.

In 2010 - after successfully partnering on a wide range of environmental projects' EcoMedia was acquired by CBS Corporation, exponentially scaling its reach across television, radio, interactive, and publishing media.

EcoMedia has earned numerous awards and recognitions for its work, including the US Conference of Mayors Award for Excellence in Public Private Partnerships and back-to-back Edison Awards for Social Innovation and Social Impact. EcoMedia's Creative Studio has also been honored by the Webbys, the Tellys and the Communicator Awards.

But the greatest reward of all? The ability to make a significant, positive impact in communities nationwide. In all, EcoMedia has delivered more than $85 million in funding and resources to crucial nonprofit organizations, improving the quality of life for more than 36 million Americans to date.
