October 14, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA)-- ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT sat down with Jon Gosselin yesterday in Pennsylvania following his courtroom clash with estranged wife Kate Gosselin, for an all-new interview to air tonight, Wednesday, October 14th.
Gosselin tells ET that he did violate their financial agreement, "It was just after arbitration and we weren't supposed to take money out of the restrictive account and we both did. I was found in contempt for doing so. I didn't realize, I thought I was just taking my paycheck out."
Jon says he has been ordered to return $155,000 but admits he doesn't know yet how much Kate owes back, "It's unaccounted for," he says. "So by Friday, we'll know her complete accounting, which might reduce my accounting, so I don't know what's going on. I'm gonna be truthful and abide by the court and I'll put it back. And she has to do the same."
He goes on to say that despite their ugly divorce proceedings, he did wish he could have spoken to Kate directly during Tuesday's court hearing, "I thought about doing that, but in a public setting as a public figure you have to watch what you say and do," he says.
As for future earnings, Gosselin says he's "not worried about future employment" and "will continue on television."
