CBS SPORTS SET TO BROADCAST MASTERS FOR 66th CONSECUTIVE YEAR FROM AUGUSTA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB 

Masters Live Extends Broadcast Coverage with More Than 100 Hours of Additional Live Streaming Video on CBS Sports Digital Platforms & Paramount+

CBS Sports Network Tees Off Week-Long Coverage on Monday, April 5 with Masters On the Range

CBS Sports is set to broadcast the Masters, the most renowned tournament in golf, for the 66th consecutive year from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., this April 8-11. The Masters is the longest-running sporting event broadcast on one network.

CBS Sports offers extensive, week-long coverage across all its platforms, with its traditional 18-hole broadcast coverage beginning with the third round on Saturday, April 10 (3:00-7:00 PM, ET) and final-round action on Sunday, April 11 (2:00-7:00 PM, ET). In addition, highlights of early-round air on CBS on Thursday, April 8 and Friday, April. 9 (11:35-11:50 PM, ET).

Jim Nantz, in his 36th consecutive year covering the Masters, serves as host for the 34th time. Three-time Masters champion Sir Nick Faldo, on the 25th anniversary of his third victory, joins Nantz in the 18th tower as the lead analyst.

Nantz and Faldo are joined by CBS Sports’ golf team including analyst Ian Baker-Finch, on-course reporter Dottie Pepper, 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman, Frank Nobilo, veteran announcer Verne Lundquist, Andrew Catalon, and Amanda Balionis, contributing with interviews.

CBS Sports' coverage of the Masters will be produced by lead producer Sellers Shy, along with Jim Rikhoff, and directed by lead director Steve Milton, along with Bob Matina. Andy Freedman and Chris Svendsen will serve as replay producers. Freedman will produce the late night highlight shows and Jim Cornell will direct.

Masters Live Extends Broadcast Coverage with More Than 100 Hours of Additional Live Streaming Video on CBS Sports Digital Platforms & Paramount+

Masters Live, featuring live, full-day, streaming video coverage of the 2021 Masters Tournament, will offer four channels of golf action available on CBSSports.com, the CBS Sports app for mobile devices, and Paramount+. Masters Live will extend CBS Sports’ broadcast coverage, offering more than 100 additional hours of live video along with in-progress highlights, from Augusta National Golf Club throughout the week of the 2021 Masters. 

The 2021 Masters Live line-up of channels includes:

  • Featured Groups: Shane Bacon and Billy Kratzert begin coverage of the 2021 Masters on Thursday morning with Featured Groups. In addition, Brian Crowell and Colt Knost will serve as announcers for the Featured Groups live streaming coverage of select pairings throughout their entire round each day.

  • Amen Corner: Grant Boone and Mark Immelman serve as announcers for live streaming coverage of the 11th, 12th and 13th holes.

  • 15 & 16: Luke Elvy and Ned Michaels provide commentary and analysis for live streaming video on the 15th and 16th holes.

  • Masters On the Range – Masters On the Range, presented Monday through Sunday on Masters Live and CBS Sports Network, will feature interviews with players, analysis of the field and breakdowns from the Tournament Practice area at Augusta National leading up to the start and throughout the 2021 Masters. Kelly Tilghman, Brian Crowell, Michael Breed, Mark Immelman and Billy Kratzert will provide commentary throughout the week.

In addition to the other channels of live golf action, Masters Live will present video highlights and Augusta National aerials, as well as historical and Interview Room highlights. Masters Live and additional features on Masters.com will be available for free at CBSSports.com and on the CBS Sports app for mobile devices. Masters Live content also will be available via the Paramount+ subscription service along with CBS Sports' broadcast coverage of the Tournament. 

CBS Sports HQ, the free 24/7 streaming sports news network, will feature live updates and reports on the leaderboard, plus the latest stories from the Tournament beginning Monday with CBS Sports golf writer Kyle Porter, as well as extended post-round coverage. CBS Sports HQ is available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app for mobile and connected TV devices. Highlights also will be available on CBS Sports’ social channels.

CBS Sports Network Tees Up Week-Long Coverage

  • Masters On the Range: CBS Sports Network, along with Masters Live, will start off Masters week with the live show featuring interviews with players, analysis of the field and breakdowns from the Tournament Practice Area at Augusta National leading up to the start and throughout the 2021 Masters.

  • Re-Airs and Replays: Along with Masters On the Range, CBS Sports Network will air an encore of CBS Sports’ live third-round coverage of the 2021 Masters on Saturday night (8:00 PM, ET) and the final round on Sunday evening (8:00 PM, ET).  The network also re-airs the 2021 final round on Monday, April 12 (8:00 PM, ET). And, CBS Sports Network sets the stage for this year’s Tournament with a replay of the 2020 Masters final round on Wednesday, April 7 (7:00 PM, ET).

CBS Sports Broadcasts Five Masters Specials

  • CBS Television Network will broadcast a special edition of WE NEED TO TALK on Saturday, April 10 (12:30-1:30 PM, ET), with panelists Amanda Balionis, Dottie Pepper, Tina Cervasio and Aditi Kinkhabwala. The show features Masters-related content, including early-round analysis and a recap of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.

Additionally, the network broadcasts four other specials leading into its weekend coverage of the Masters, highlighting the memories and tradition at Augusta National Golf Club. Those specials include:

  • THE MASTERS: JACK AND ARNIE! (Saturday, April 10, 1:30-2:00 PM, ET)

    • A special look at two of the game’s most beloved and legendary champions, including their history together and separately, at the Masters.

  • THE MASTERS: THE SECOND NINE ON SUNDAY (Saturday, April 10, 2:00-3:00 PM, ET)

    • The one-hour special presents a look at some of the most iconic final-round moments at the Masters with a behind-the-scenes look at the players and shots that have helped define some of the game’s most legendary figures on golf’s greatest stage.

  • THE MASTERS: THE MAGNIFICENT 12th (Sunday, April 11, 12:30-1:00 PM, ET)

    • Hear from the players themselves as they reveal their strategies and re-live memorable moments at “Golden Bell,” one of the most pivotal and famous holes in golf.    

  • JIM NANTZ REMEMBERS AUGUSTA: MARK O’MEARA AT THE MASTERS (Sunday, April 12, 1:00-2:00 PM, ET)

    • Jim Nantz sits down with Mark O’Meara to document his journey from a Southern California junior champion to a two-time major winner, including his famous 1998 victory at the Masters.
