Course Record with Michael Breed” to Air Monday Mornings on CBS Sports Network; Discussing Latest Storylines in World of Golf

CBS Sports announced a new, weekly one-hour golf show airing Monday mornings on CBS Sports Network, titled “Course Record with Michael Breed.” The show, hosted by renowned golf instructor and commentator Michael Breed, tees off on Monday, Jan. 27 (11:00 AM, ET) following CBS’ coverage of the Farmers Insurance Open that weekend. The show will run for 35 straight weeks airing Monday’s after PGA TOUR events, all four majors and The Ryder Cup.

“Course Record with Michael Breed” will feature Breed’s unique analysis and commentary, recapping the weekend in Tournament golf, reacting to the latest and biggest storylines in the sport and looking ahead to notable events on the golf calendar. The show also will include interviews with members from throughout the golf community and CBS Sports analysts.

Additionally, originating from a fully-equipped, custom-built studio, “Course Record with Michael Breed” will showcase instructional segments. Utilizing the studio’s state-of-the art golf simulator and instructional technology, viewers will get an in-depth look at Breed’s teaching tips and segments. PGA Professional and coach at the Michael Breed Golf Academy, Greg DuCharme, will also contribute to the show.  

The CBS Television Network also will broadcast six half-hour shows during the season leading into CBS Sports’ live golf coverage.

Breed is regarded as one of the best golf teachers in America, as he was named the 2012 PGA National Teacher of the Year and the Number 1 Teacher in New York in 2019. He was also rated as a top instructor in America this year by Golf Digest. Breed is the host of “A New Breed of Golf” on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio and previous host of the “Golf Fix” on Golf Channel.

CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, is available through all major cable, satellite and telco distributors as well as via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fuboTV, DirecTV and Hulu.
