First Season Of Critically Acclaimed Must-See Show Debuts On DVD June 17

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - March 21 - Wickedly funny and deliciously dark, CALIFORNICATION Season One gives it up on DVD June 17 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.

Boasting a fine balance of debauchery and moral values, David Duchovny ("The X-Files," The TV Set) stars in his Golden GlobeÒ award-winning role as downbeat, self-loathing writer Hank Moody.  A New York transplant now living in California, Hank's life is spinning gloriously out of control as he juggles his sex and drug addictions while raising a daughter and trying to win back the love of his life. Complicating matters further is his agent, who tries to turn him into a blogger after a serious case of writer's block prevents him from cranking out another hit novel.  Teeming with edgy, in-your-face dialogue, controversial sex situations and tender family moments, CALIFORNICATION has been deemed "wildly amusing... erotic, romantic, hedonistic, caring, feministic, narcissistic and written close to the conscious subconscious, as if it's the organized stream of consciousness of a genius"
(Chicago Sun Times).

A buzz-generating show since its debut last year, CALIFORNICATION was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Television Series (Musical or Comedy). CALIFORNICATION shines with a brilliant cast including Natascha McElhone (Solaris, Ronin) as Hank's ex-girlfriend, young Broadway star Madeleine Martin as their daughter Becca, Madeline Zima ("The Nanny") as 16-year-old jailbait Mia and Evan Handler ("Sex and the City") as Hank's straight arrow agent and best friend who secretly envies Hank's swinging bachelor ways.

CALIFORNICATION Season One includes all 12 episodes from the inaugural season, free streaming of Showtime's hit series "Dexter" and "The Tudors," and more for the suggested retail price of $42.99. Prebook is April 1.

The two-disc CALIFORNICATION Season One set is presented in widescreen with English 5.1 Surround, 2.0 Stereo and Spanish Mono sound.  The DVD is not rated in the U.S. and rated 18A in Canada.  The total running time is approximately 10 hours.  Season One features the following episodes:
