HELLO CLARICE…

Marnee Carpenter has joined the cast of CBS’ new mid-season drama series CLARICE as a series regular. The series has also added Jayne Atkinson, Shawn Doyle and Tim Guinee as guest stars. Ms. Carpenter plays Catherine Martin, who was saved from Buffalo Bill’s basement by Clarice. Jayne Atkinson plays Ruth Martin, the newly appointed Attorney General (and Catherine’s mother). Shawn Doyle plays Clarice Starling’s therapist at Quantico and Tim Guinee plays Novak, the leader of a secessionist militia group.

CLARICE is set in 1993, a year after the events of “The Silence of the Lambs.” Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice Starling returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators. CLARICE offers a deep dive into the untold personal story of this young FBI agent as she navigates the high stakes political world of Washington D.C.
