Sharon Osbourne serves as host of THE TALK, CBS’ Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show now in its 11th season. The show examines topical events and contemporary issues through the eyes of five diverse female hosts. Osbourne won the Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts Daytime Emmy for the first time in 2017.
Osbourne’s career in the music industry has spanned nearly 50 years. She is regarded as the first successful female manager in the business. In addition to managing the career of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, she has managed numerous artists, such as Black Sabbath, Electric Light Orchestra, Smashing Pumpkins, Motorhead and Slade. In 1996 Osbourne created and produced Ozzfest, which became the biggest hard rock touring festival in America.
Her television career began when she created and produced the cable reality series “The Osbournes,” which starred her husband, Ozzy, and their children. It won an Emmy Award for Best Reality Show in 2002. Then, she leveraged her lengthy professional career in the music industry to become a talent judge on the hit U.K. version of “The X Factor” for a total of seven seasons. She later served as a talent judge for five seasons on “America’s Got Talent.” Osbourne has also guest starred on CBS’ “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” Disney’s “7D” and Netflix’s “Lucifer.” Additional television credits include a role as the voice of “Mama Hook” on the animated show “Jake and the Neverland Pirates” as well as hosting “The American Music Awards.” Recently, she has been very busy during the Covid-19 quarantine filming four TV shows in her home; “Celebrity Watch Party” (Fox), “The Osbournes Want to Believe” (Travel Channel), “The Osbournes: Night of Terror” (Discovery Channel).
Osbourne is the author of four best-selling books, including Sharon Osbourne Extreme: My Autobiography. Recently, she executive produced the A&E documentary “The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne.”
