Rose McIver is perhaps best known to television audiences as the lead character in the cult favorite series “IZombie,” based on the DC Comic. Recently, she had a recurring role on the Hulu series “Woke,” opposite Lamorne Morris, and starred opposite Andy Garcia in the production of “Key Largo” at the Geffen Playhouse, directed by Doug Hughes.
In 2017, McIver starred in the massively popular Netflix film “A Christmas Prince,” and its two subsequent film sequels: “A Christmas Prince: A Royal Wedding” and “A Christmas Prince: A Royal Baby.”
Her additional television credits include “Masters of Sex” and “Once Upon a Time,” where she played Tinkerbell. McIver’s film roles include “The Lovely Bones,” starring opposite Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz, and the independent films “Daffodils,” “Brightest Star” and “Brampton’s Own.”
McIver loves to embroider (a favorite pastime of her grandmother’s), garden and read, and is a runner and dance workout enthusiast. She grew up in French Bay, a little spot in New Zealand, with her mother and father, both artists, her brother and a menagerie of animals, including chickens, possums, magpies, dogs, cats and more.
