As one of Canada’s most talented and prolific indigenous actors, Nathaniel Arcand has amassed numerous film and television credits over the years.
On television, Arcand has had starring roles in the series “Heartland” as the enigmatic Scott Cardinal for 11 seasons, “North of 60,” “Blackstone,” and as Tonto in the television movie “The Lone Ranger.” On the Network, he guest-starred on BULL and FBI, first in the episode that introduced the lead characters of FBI: MOST WANTED, and later, in a crossover episode between both of the FBI-themed series.
His film credits include “Cold Pursuit,” and the upcoming “Monkey Beach,” among many others.
Arcand is an accomplished musician, martial artist and public speaker who holds an unmistakably special bond with horses. Born near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, he currently resides in New York. His birth date is Nov. 13. Arcand is of the Nehiyawak people also known as Plains Cree. He is from the Alexander First Nation.
